As soon as the first song came on, I knew that the average age of the band members would be comfortably over 40. They sound like every other pub-rock band you'd hear this side of the water but with a slight Americana twist. They reminded me of local heroes MI4, both taking heavy influence from '70s mainstream rock and the kind of funk rock you hear at your local pub on a Thursday night. The main difference between most pub bands and Trinity is the lyrics, they're packed with spiritual and biblical themes that, like the music, sadly end up sounding rather clichéd and cheesy. Perhaps to a different tune these well-intended words would pack a greater punch . but it is only perhaps.
