Wes is a Brit, son of veteran CCM broadcaster and journalist Paul Davis, though much of this album was recorded in Nashville and Franklin, USA with country singer/producer Jerry Arhelger. In fact Jerry duets with Wes on the opening track, 'Faith, Hope and Love' as does another country veteran George Hamilton 1V on Noel Richards' "You Laid Aside Your Majesty". Despite these country credentials there are no country inflections in Wes' pop singing style. The material here is largely self-penned and worshipful but despite all the accolades from Dana, George Hamilton IV and Dave Bilbrough on the sleeve about its quality it seemed routine to this reviewer while the lack of passion in Wes' vocal style made this a dull album to listen to in one sitting.
