Marvin Sapp enjoying major US sales with latest album

GOSPEL singer Marvin Sapp is enjoying a big US hit with his 'Thirsty' album with Billboard magazine noting the album was the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart Greatest Gainer, rising from 24 to 14. Sapp's sales explosion comes after performances on US TV's Celebration Of Gospel and the TV syndication of the 2008 Stellar Awards. The lead single from the album, "Never Would Have Made It", is now in its 27th week at number one on the Hot Gospel Songs chart.
