Live recordings by the Staple Singers re-issued

A HUGE festival, Soul To Soul, held in Accra, Ghana, in 1971 featuring a host of American soul, gospel and jazz acts is remembered with the re-issue on CD and vinyl. As well as acts like Ike & Tina Turner and The Voices Of East Harlem, the live album features the Staple Singers. Read a review of the album in Record Collector magazine, "The Staple Singers go full church on rousing takes of "Are You Sure" and "He's Alright". 'Soul To Soul: Music From The Original Soundtrack' is released by Wienerworld.  CR
