Single in top 40

THE SINGLE 'White Ribbon Day' by Delirious? Is at No. 41 in the national pop charts as we went to press. This is a huge achievement for a band on a tiny independent label (the band's own Furious? Records) and with no major label marketing push and though frustratingly just outside the Top 40 - another 160 sales would have put "White Ribbon Day" in the Top 40 with the national radio, TV and press coverage - it's success is described by the band as "the start of an intensely promising journey."

Preparations are already underway for the release of "Deeper" as the next single. The band are also planning a major tour of 2,500 capacity size city venues for the summer with their next studio album tentatively titled 'King Of Fools'. Said the band's Tim Jupp, "We sense things will change from the summer onwards but we want to steer the ship!" CR
