Something new and fresh is happening in Britain's praise and worship ministry. A new wave of new, young worship songwriters like Cutting Edge'sl Martin Smith have emerged to breathe new creative life into the soft pop end of worship. Just when the P&W publishers, record companies and Bible week organisers seemed to have created a charismatic dinosaur too reliant on personality cults, entrenched conservatism, and hyped-up marketing, along has come a fresh bunch of worship singer/songwriters - chaps like Littlehampton-based Martin Smith. You should already know his song "Lord You Have My Heart" featured here.
