Amazin' is London-based Nigerian, Ijeoma, one of a family of 11 children. She was drawn into music ministry at an early age before really understanding what that meant, but after God revealed himself to her in 1998 she committed herself to serve in that role. As well as being in the choir at her church Ijeoma last year decided to record some self-penned songs, resulting in this album project. What you get here is a selection of worship songs rather than pop tunes, complete with an African gospel stylistic colouring. Lyrically, the songs cover praise, thankfulness, self-examination and repentance and are well written. "All Hail His Name" is a song of high praise with strong hints of "Oh Happy Day", with the band and backing choir providing energetic support. Unfortunately, the album the then tends to meander downhill with too many of the tracks getting bogged down in a dull, ballad style. There is a little stylistic variation in the Hillsong-style "I Say Yes" and the "Reggae Medley" has its moments but there simply isn't enough quality material to sustain interest. The backing band are good and mesh well with the vocals, although backing vocals are somewhat flat on a couple of tracks.

I have listened to this Album, Angels' Cry. It's the song of the season. The song, the words, the meaning, inspired by the Holy Spirit... It is one that will cause you to reflect as you live your Christian life. Amazin' also released a New Album BeyondBounds. listen to it. It is beautiful
