Andy Price (must be an Andrea ,right?) has teamed up with Naked Truth to record an album of original songs which she has penned. All the proceeds go to Mission Aviation Fellowship and its flying projects in Africa. A bold move and 'Dreamer' simply highlights the fact that we have an emerging talent who is finding her feet musically and lyrically. The album is acoustic pop in style with Andy singing and playing guitars. Vocally she's got a bit of a slurred soulful rock chick delivery (check out 'Sheep') and  occasionally she slips but generally she is also capable of delicate moments ('Send Your Rain', 'Dreamer' and 'Hurt Behind Closed Doors'). The latter is a moving song dedicated to those suffering in the Sudan crisis. Andy's songs occasionally venture into 6th form poetry territory but are generally well constructed. She can only get better and this is a good introduction.
