Benny Berry is a committed Christian who also happens to be a fine new modern country singer. In fact he's starting to get rave reviews over here despite not having yet 'cracked it' in the States. He sounds like a young Merle Haggland, who he lists as one of his favourite singers. This is not a Gospel album as such, just a great collection of mainly new country songs, all superbly sung with top rate backing, it opens with "God Made Love" which was a country hit of some years ago, and the lyrics obviously appealed to Benny. Many of the songs reflect good moral values and Benny does get in one of his own compositions "Living Is Dying", which is a Gospel song.
