Imitation is meant to be the greatest form of flattery and with this latest outing for Australia's Christian City Church Youth some artists should be feeling very flattered. That isn't to say that this is a bad album, but many of the tracks leave you with the impression that you've heard it before. There are many different styles represented on the album from the rocky "Chase After You" to the reflective "By Your Side" encompassing the Redmanesque "Come Near". You may have trouble isolating the styles of the music, as some tracks begin with a big intro and then seem to fizzle away into nothing. Many of the styles they attempt never actually get fulfilled. The vocals are pleasant, with many of these youngsters being extremely talented, but many end up sounding like the artists who have obviously influenced them. No two tracks are written by the same person, so some of the lyrics are a little basic, particularly on "Hallelujah" and "All I Need", yet others like "Free" are very tightly written with much more expression and content. A bit of a mix, but fantastic value due to the inclusion of "Walk On Water" in the Limited Edition.
