What can one say?  Good attempt, Caroline!  Caroline's operatic influence certainly shows very strongly, as does her desire to sing more contemporary.  Unfortunately, the two do not seem to go together.  I don't think she has done herself favours by singing well known choruses, though this probably helped with tape sales on live performances.  Caroline really needs her voice re-trained if she desires to become more contemporary, otherwise she should stay with what she knows.  Just because one is young does not mean one should always aim to be contemporary.  Why not be brave, go with the talents God has given and open up choral and operatic styles to the younger generation?
