Dave is an engaging singer, a talented guitarist and competent on all the other instruments he plays. He recorded the tape by himself and wrote all the songs. Pretty impressive. However, after a few minutes of listening the music gets a tad tedious, like something Mothercare would play in store. When you hear one track, you have heard them all. The strongest is the title track and the others just bland around. They are simple songs in construction and simple theology, ranging from the prophetic "Worth Dying For" to the jolly "Standing On The Rock" which tries desperately to be a happy clappy sing along success. I want Dave to succeed. He has tremendous potential, so if some record company is reading this, RING HIM UP!
