David is one of the longest practitioners of gospel reggae in Britain. His style is unashamedly lovers rock, gentle ballads set to light riddims with none of the more bombastic sounds of contemporary JA culture. This CD features 12 songs, all self written, plus another two ("Set Me Free" and "Morning Star") uncredited on the sleeve. If you're a big lover of lovers you might go for this but I found many of the songs here trite and stereotyped while David's voice showed some problems with the pitching. There are better reggae albums out there.
