It’s been six years, yep six, since the team wooed the hip-hop crowd with ‘Remember The Future’ so a return for these nifty purveyors of the more abstract and freeform dimensions of the rappers art is very welcome. They are aided by some sublime scratching on “Jazzman” and a guest appearance on “Integers & Fractions” by one of the best rappers in Christendom, Sup The Chemist. Spots are also found for numerous other guests including Pigeon John, Kaitlyn Cassels (of Sackcloth Fashion) and B-Twice (of LA Symphony). “Should I” explores the dynamics of persevering through trials, while “Paper Weights”, with a wicked guitar sample and six MCs in turn stepping up to the microphone, makes for a compulsive sound.
