JS is part of King Of Kings Assembly worship team, his ministry keeps him busy travelling Europe, Russia and the USA. This tape features 11 powerful Messianic songs superbly interpreted by his rich, resonant baritone voice. Lyrics are in Hebrew and English, black mark for lack of translation of some of the former. Of special interest are "Od Yishama/Sisu Et Yerushalayim", written by the legendary Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach and the classy "Those Who Sow In Tears" from Tom Howard and Bill Batstone. Other first rate songs include "Isaiah 53", "They Will Look Upon Me" and "Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem". Settel's experience as a former professional secular singer shines through, as does the sincerity and commitment. With a Topol-style vocal technique, quality backing and a mighty message, this is one powerful tape. Soak up some of this Hebrew praise, it's a drop of good stuff.
