Juliet Lloyd's 'Every Picture Of You' is the singer/songwriter's four-track taster to an album which will be released later this year. In spite of Lloyd's pleasant voice, all four songs sound very similar. The tracks appear to have been recorded using synthesised instruments and contain identical drum machine backings. This gives the EP a very flat sound with little variety. The lyrics cover a range of important topics such as teenage pregnancies and AIDS, however, many of the sentiments are quite simplisticly expressed. Lloyd clearly has potential as an artist but this EP is a poor showcase for her talents.
