If you're one of those who after hearing 'The Preacher's Wife' feel Witney Houston ought to go the whole hog and drop a whole gospel album like Aretha Franklin does from time to time, your prayers have been answered, sort of.  Kelli sports a facsimile of Whitney's vocal tones, right down to those shrieking vocals.  And whilst the lyrics are unambiguously gospel-edge, the music covers much ground.  There's the funky title track, the funky, uplifting voice boxed two-step "Friend Of Mine" (great crossover potential), through to the big ballad "On My Own".  In between, there's the soulful duet "Love Wouldn't" featuring former Blackstreet vocalist David Hollister, Kelli goes to church with the choir on "Wrong Road" and "Glory, Honour And Praise", "Another Day" is a groovy affirmation, the swingy "I've Got A Feeling" and "Ain't No Joy" put an irresistible groove behind songs bigging up Jesus.  Kelli may sound like Whitney, but no one sounds so funky singing gospel songs like her!
