This is a selection of psalms from the Anglican psalter, admirably sung and accompanied on the organs of Kings College and Trinity College Cambridge - but who (in their right minds) wants to listen to this stuff? I'm sorry, but sitting through 2 1/2 hours of chanted psalms is not my idea of heaven however well executed, and I speak as a great admirer of the Anglican service. Out there somewhere - I have no doubt - will be an enthusiast with the other set of "The Psalms Of David", I hope that one day we'll meet-but until then this collection of CD's may well be kept as an heirloom for my kids because I predict that they will be exceedingly rare in the years to come. . .
