Quite unusual to come across an all female chorale, but of course America has a love of all kinds of choral music, sadly not reflected in the UK yet. Similar set up to the men's equivalent, 20 tracks, mainly evergreen stuff, but some adventurous spirit shown by tackling Randy Stonehill's "Shut De Do". Some of the arrangements are surprisingly contemporary, with slightly dated pop styling and aggressive musicianship. Some of the vocals seem a trifle rushed and snatched at, but there's plenty of good quality to enjoy. Good to see choral music entering the UK market via Kingsway.
