This is the latest in a long line of live worship albums from America's famed student events Passion. With songs written and sung by Chris Tomlin, Kristian Stanfill, Christy Nockels, David Crowder Band, Charlie Hall, Matt Redman, Fee and Hillsong United it is obvious that the music is going to be high-energy, spirit-filled rock worship and the album does not disappoint. Starting with a simple piano refrain Chris Tomlin's "Awakening" builds with passion to its full bore climax before leaping into Kristian's "Say Say" with even more crashing guitars. While not all being at this breakneck speed, there is little let up in the pace with even the quieter songs, such as Christy Nockels' "Healing Is In Your Hands" and Matt Redman's "You Alone Can Rescue" still end up with a the full band, thumping kick drum and screaming guitar treatment by the end of the song. There is plenty of variation in styles with multiple bands and lead vocals but none of it strays far from the party line and it does leave a desire for something more - even if that is just bigger speakers and amp to do justice to that kick drum - it is impossible to play this album quietly.

The more you play this album the more you want to hear it even the tracks that don't 'get you' to begin with grow on you. Awakening is just amazing, really stirs you up for God. Chris Tomlin with Our God just fires you up again. David Crowder just is superb with How He Loves, on first hearing (albeit driving & someone elses CD) I wasn't keen, but now I love it, makes me realise the depth of God's love. Track 5 with Christy Nockels is reflective and wonderful for a quiet time of thought and 'giving it all' to God, while you let the Holy Spirit minister. Charlie Hall, never thought I'd say this, is addictive with King of Heaven, very thought provoking. Not overkeen on the slowness of You Alone but still a good worship song. Track 8 and 9 don't do much for me but Track 10, Like a Lion with DCB makes up, it's such a 'tune' brilliant track, Track 11 catchy and will probably grow on me and the different version of Everything to end needs to be heard.
