This 2014 compilation of 20 tracks from the Elevation label is the soundtrack from the DVD of the same name, and was recorded at the Keswick Convention (not clear which year). It starts with a conventional but uninspiring version of "Praise My Soul The King Of Heaven" but recovers straight away with "Every Promise Of Your Word" written by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend. In fact the four Getty/Townend tracks are among the best on the album, with catchy melodies and strong vocals (by Keith and/or Kristyn Getty? - unfortunately no performer credits are given). The mood varies from exhilarating to reflective and intimate, sometimes even on the same song, as in "I Stand Amazed", which builds up from a quiet beginning. The live songs worked well - I didn't feel like I was missing out too much for not being there on the night - due in part to the high technical quality and clarity of the recording. Finally, my favourite track was the last one, "Creation Sings" - a suitably upbeat conclusion with an appealing melody that will linger pleasantly.
