'Precious Moments' takes the gentle worship recorded at past of the Keswick Conventions and uses footage of the amazing countryside of Keswick and other parts of the Lake District to set off the wonder of God and his creation. "Be Thou My Vision" starts with the most amazing sunset over Lake Windermere and runs on into the mountains. There is much use made of waterfalls and sheep and it was lovely the way the songs just run one into the other, though it is possible to just pick certain songs. There are other classics like "Tell Out My Soul" and "Crown Him With Many Crowns" with nothing harsh to spoil the tranquillity of the whole scene. It is heartening that in all the excellent filming there are no sudden appearances of picnickers and the weather is glorious throughout. And a useful DVD feature is that, even though these are songs that I am sure many will know and love, it is possible to have subtitled lyrics to sing along to.
