Now here is a really fine hiphop album. The loops, samples and music are of a very creative variety. It is his lyrics that really stand out as he lakes time to be real and blunt about personal, spiritual and social issues that young Christians face in the secular world. It does what every good album must do, start off very well, leave some of the weaker tracks for the middle of the album, then begin to rekindle the same quality at the end as the beginning. With the number of collaborations, this album could have been a guest star fest. As it is, Reality manages to incorporate the guests yet leave his own tangible rap-print on this album. There are some clever musical touches and production techniques throughout, and this is definitely an album that does not compromise the power of the Word, and does not gel caught up in Busta Rhymes-esque over-quick lyricising. For anyone who thinks gospel rap cannot minister, I suggest they listen to "True Knights", "Open My Eyes", "The Day God Called", and "Until I'm Done Singing". It's an album that hits a home run in this reviewer's gospel ballpark.
