Back in 1994 Cross Rhythms plucked a great song "I Can Do All Things" by Richard Reid from the obscurity of a private cassette release and featured it on an early Cross Rhythms Experience. Then things seemed to go quiet for the Scottish singer/songwriter. But here our man is back and not only that offers a scorching new version of his song with some fluid guitar from Rob Ash, this CD's producer. Elsewhere. Richard turns in a poignant ballad about the passing of time "All In His Plan", a romping blues about longing for Heaven (catch the assured blues harp from John Grills and rock solid drum work from ex-Dire Straits man Terry Williams) and a witty story-in-song, "Jean Said To John", ("Jean said to John, 'Do you wanna go to church'/John said, 'You must be joking, that's only for old jerks'"). Great production and great songs from a singer/songwriter who deserves to be well known way beyond Scotland. If that wasn't enough encouragement to buy this album, £2.00 from sales of each CD goes to Yorkhill Sick Children's Hospital in Glasgow,
