'Clean Hands' has been independently released by Richard Swan, an Irish South African now based in London, and it's already received good reviews from Graham Kendrick, Rob Lacey, Adrian Snell and Fiona Castle. Produced by Richard and John Kensington this is an album of songs written for the purpose of drawing people into worship, but with a few performance type songs, notably "I Don't Wanna Lie", included also. Richard has worked with Delirious? on their 'King Of Fools' album and was choir director for Kendrick's Rumours Of Angels tour in 1997. He also performs with jazz band Melodius Thunk and a function band called Disco Knights. "We Bless" and "God You're Amazing" would easily adapt for singing in church. If you have a worship leader who can sing and play guitar, it's worth giving them a try. "I Will Raise And Magnify" is a gospel song and the album ends with Psalm 23 beautifully sung by Annika Scutt and accompanied by Richard on piano.
