Old school inspirational music from Gary S Paxton's Garpax Branson company. Here we have Mr McDuff performing adequate but hardly groundbreaking renditions of songs of faith, mostly penned by Mr Paxton. If you like devotional balladry you might enjoy "When Nobody Seems To Care" and "The Ship Sails On" while the orchestra conducted by Don Tweedy and Don Hart is adequate while Gary's daughter, Debra Lynn Paxton, conducts her singers neatly around Roger's slightly adenoidal vocals. But it's hard to maintain interest in a lot of the music here and one cannot help but feel that '(We Are Standing) On Holy Ground' could have been released on vinyl in 1970 rather than on CD in 2010.

I HAVE LISTENED TO ROGER MCDUFF, AND HIS BROTHERS FO OVER 38 YEARS, AND ALOT OF THOES DAYS THAT WAS THE ONLY MUSIC I WOULD LISTEN TO ALL DAY. HE HAS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VOICES IN GOSPEL I HAVE EVER HEARD, AND I HAVE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH
TWICE TO SIT INTO HIS PREACHING SERVICES AND WAS GREATLY BLESSED BY OUR LORD IN THE MESSAGE HE GAVE. IAM A LIFE LONG FAN OF THIS GREAT CHRISTIAN BROTHERS MUSIC. GOD BLESS.

We listened to nothing but Roger McDuff for several years. His music is beautiful. I couldn't disagree more with the above reviewer. I know I am not alone in attempting to find anything Roger on CD, our tapes are just about worn out. :( We especially love the album Sincerely Yours - oh how I miss that!!!
