Apparently the first of its kind, this CD/DVD can be used on CD or DVD players, the latter adding liturgy and images to the songs. The images are stills, some black and white, some colour, some very beautiful. We could do this with slide projectors, OHPs and PowerPoint. So why put stills on a DVD, and not moving images? I appreciate most people won't be using the three "worship sets" at one sitting, so the images won't be so same-y. The sound quality on some domestic DVD players won't do any favours to the music (and my laptop didn't enhance it at all!) What do you do if you want to sing along? I was a bit surprised that the lyrics weren't on screen too. The technology is obviously there, because the liturgies (mostly CofE Common Worship, incidentally) are. It's not my cup of tea, but that said, I'm sure there are many people who will find this useful. Kingsway/Songs Of Fellowship are to be congratulated for providing such a resource. And I like the "Celtic Cross" formed by the case spindle - you'll need to look at it to see what I mean!
