Those who’ve heard the Nottingham rapper on his recent Cross Rhythms radio hit “Wait A While” will know that The Prodigal Son is something special and this single, a taster from his forthcoming album ‘To Whom It May Concern’, is another killer, in more ways than one, as the song depicts the rise and fall of a cousin who chooses to sell crack and ends up with a bullet in his head. The acapella version is absolutely breathtaking. Not for the faint-hearted but for my money one of the finest anti-drugs recordings I’ve ever heard.
