Prodigal Song, the Nottingham rapper, shouldn't be confused with the American dance team the Prodigal Sons. It's refreshing to hear a British hip hop artist who has an original style and is not over influenced by the US scene. This album has been awaited for some time as the Prodigal Son has been making his mark in the UK over the past few years, especially in the Midlands and London. 'Wait Awhile' tells of Prodigal's past, his relationship with Christ and simply his love for Jesus. The title track is destined for success and bonus tracks include garage and ragga mixes in true British style! Overall, the catchy beats and deep lyrics complete a great sounding album.
