A three track private recording from a Romanian living in Devon, 'The Singing Poet' offers one well loved hymn and two songs I've never heard. As is to be expected of a restricted budget recording the quality of the recording is a little rough but does show promise. Thomas does a fine interpretation of "In Jesus Name", one of my church's favourite hymns. Even so, the best track is the opener "Son Of The Creator", the lyric is straight down the line: "Take a moment to see how he took that pain to set us free". What else needs saying? Obviously there is a slight Eastern European flavour to the recording; there is a crying out for God to bring "Peace, perfect peace to this neighbourhood". With a larger budget and a semi-decent studio Thomas could produce a tape that would do justice to a good talent.
