Catch The Fire is the signature conference of the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, which, as everyone knows, was planted by the Vineyard Church in that fair Canadian city in 1987, but which subsequently broke away to become an independent organisation in the wake of the Toronto Blessing phenomenon. This album follows on from where the 'Heaven On Earth: Eight Years..' double CD set left off (see Admiral Cummings' review in CR66), with resident stalwarts Jeremy Sinnott and Brian Critchley being joined on worship leading duties by our own Noel Richards. The CD is good value with 64 minutes of music and whilst I can't comment on the minutiae of the material (I only have a white label pre-release copy), it seems a good mix of old and new, with the old gospel favourite "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms" and the 1997 Third Day opus "My Hope Is You" rubbing shoulders with some original Toronto stuff, and of course with that indefinable anointed feel that seems to pervade every live worship set from TACF. Aficionados can buy with confidence.
