I don’t think it’s blind nationalism which leads me to observe that most of the best albums bearing the Vineyard moniker over the last few years have been British ones. The collective assembled under the Vineyard UK name have produced some memorable moments in contemporary worship music. And now this aggregation from Vineyard’s Nottingham church show themselves to be absolutely top quality. Vocalists/worship leaders Nigel Briggs and Kat Regester have strong voices, the guitars have sufficient bite to please all but most hardcore headbangers and the songs, like the throbbing mid tempo “The Sweetest Sound” and the Kat-led “King Forever”, will sound great on radio. Another triumph album from that pioneering stream of churches.

Product Description
Hold On is the result of the creativity and worship flowing out of the Trent Vineyard, Nottingham, the UK’s largest Vineyard church. Inspired by the past, but looking to the future, Hold On features fresh-sounding worship songs birthed out of the church. Drawing on influences such as Coldplay, Radiohead, U2 and Doves, these songs are a contemporary cry to God to ‘take my hand and walk with me through this day.’ If you enjoy the current British music scene, you will love the sound of Hold On. Sit back and listen or join in and sing your praise to the Father.

With beautiful sonic craftsmanship, Hold On is an album that truly transcends both musical genre and age-boundaries. Although a contemporary worship album at heart, it will blend in with any top quality music collection be it Christian or secular.
