This latest songbook release from Worship Together contains songs in the usual sheet music and chord chart formats, together with a useful demo CD to help worship groups get familiar with the material on offer here. Worship heavyweights Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder and Brenton Brown provide more than half of the songs and this is testimony to their prolificacy in this field of Christian music. Elsewhere, less familiar writers such Mark Hall ("Lifesong"), Jadon Lavik ("Redeeming King") and Billy James Foote ("Sing To The King") are given the opportunity to ply their wares. Given that this collection is subtitled "20 Emerging Songs For Worship", it is disappointing that old chestnuts like the title track, "He Is Exalted" by Twila Paris and Doug Horley's "We Want To See Jesus Lifted High" are wheeled out. Get it together, Worship Together.
