Well, here it is finally, the continuation of Amy's best, since her 1986 Collection cd: we get our hands on this cd by mid October of 2004. This second helping of Amy's best gears more toward her pop songs than her top ccm. I love the new song that starts off the songset, "The Water"; it came at a right time to hear in my life, thanx Amy & Ed. Actually, I am kinda baffled that they didn't wait another 2 years for a 20 year collection:I was surprised that they waited this long to release a second set of Amy's best. I missed not seeing several of her top ccm songs on this set of songs. The lp version of "Every Heartbeat" is heard verses the remixes for radio airplay; I have a bonus cd of 4 remixes to include a remix of song. Every top single released from "Heart in Motion"is contained on this cd. Top guitarist/vocalist Keb Mo adds his part on the new song "Come Be With Me"; he is a great actor as well, appearing in several episodes of "Touched By An Angel". Amy's last hit of 1986, a duet with ex-lead vocalist Chicago member, Peter Cetera is included. I was not too impressed with the bonus track of remix of top #1 hit Baby Baby: would have like to hear another familiar hit. So glad that 3 years later another "Greatest Hits" was released; even though several top ccm songs were omitted: it still contained many older songs to be heard. "Love Has a Hold on Me", "Children of the World", "Breath of Heaven", "Emmanuel, GOD With Us" are some of the great songs missed; as well as her anthem from 1993 "We Believe in GOD". We can hope for another Greatest Hits (ha ha). Nice that "Saved By Love" made this cd. Amy has been recording nearly 30 years by the time this Greatest Hits is released. Oh we have been blessed over and over again. GOD Bless! -Don
