Those of you who attend Lincolnshire's Grapevine event or the AOG conferences in Wales will already know this talented worship leader. Now Andy belatedly has his first CD under his own name. It's an engaging album recorded partly in Lincoln at dB Studios and overdubbed in Nashville. The latter gives the album a classy production sheen with top talents like Phil Madeira (keys) and Matt Slocum (cello) adding their talents to the proceedings. In fact, one of the standout tracks here is Andy's duet with country/CCM star Susan Ashton on Robert Critchley's "Praise The Mighty Name Of Jesus". Andy Bromley's own compositions are strong with the title track showing a memorable hook ("Show justice/Love mercy/Walk humbly with your God") and both "The Only One" and "Everything I Have Comes From You" have strong melodies and forthright words perfectly suited to congregational praise. Will Andy rise to the popularity of Britain's band of international praise ambassadors? I know not. But you can be assured of some quality worship material here.
