The astonishing rise to American CCM success of Ms Morgan has gone on all but unnoticed in the UK partly because it's been so quick (Cindy has had only one album previously - the wonderful 'Real Life' which produced three number one Christian radio hits Stateside) and partly because (yawn, yawn) she's still to play in Britain. But you can guarantee Britain's sleepy Christian bookshops will soon become aware of this particular American singer for this, like its predecessor, is a top class album. Cindy sings in a breathy blue-eyed soul style, the arrangements by keyboards whiz Mark Hammond are packed full of dance appeal while still remaining eminently radio friendly and the lyrics are full of faith, passion and no little intelligence. I particularly enjoyed the opener "Picture Me In Paradise" with almost a BeBe and CeCe style groove, and the worshipful "I Will Be Free" while "Storybook" and "Let Someone Love You" are crammed with examples of the producer's art. Dance pop gospel which improves with every play.
