Most of the melodies are not immediately accessible so methinks it's a grower, I will not review it until I've played it four times. The words are sweet enough, victorious praise to the Lion of Judah which inspires me to praise God while listening. The clapping and praising of the congregation tend to mar Cheryl Roger's tight studio production. But somehow like a tea bag on its fourth cup, I can't seem to extract any flavour from the melodies. The pastor's son from San Antonio's Revival Temple in Texas is undoubtedly talented and has written eleven of the twelve songs, though to these English ears his best is yet to come.
