Diagnosed with terminal cancer seven years ago and now fully recovered, this well-travelled Nottinghamshire preacher's walk with God puts the average Christian's troubles in the shade. Dave Bell's testimony is an example to us all of how faith can overcome the most insurmountable of obstacles. Now with an international reputation, his music is as exciting and varied as the path he has trod. "When Revival Breaks" is an uncomplicated rocker with a pleasant lead and lively rhythm. The piano led "Your Kingdom Come" is the singing of the 23rd Psalm blended with some nice drum work from Rick Holland. "Freedom Calls My Name" comprises strong vocals and rhythm that moves back and forth from faster beats to more introspective sections. The quieter title track is a more personal "thank you for boundless mercy in healing me" and is well worth a second listen. The final track "Healing Is On Its Way" was recorded live at last year's Grapevine. With the formation of Dave's new band The Moments we'll be looking out for more inspiring music from Dave in the future.
