The first three volumes in this series were credited on the front sleeve Don Marsh Orchestra And Chorus. By this volume Mr Marsh only arranges and orchestrates three tracks, the other 22 being handled by another Christian muzak veteran Larry Mayfield. The Don Marsh albums featured florid string arrangements but here Larry largely does away with the violins and brings in an occasional electric bass. The chorus stays as bland as ever though. Volume 4 eh? Clearly smart ol' Brentwood had plugged into a sentimental church goer commercial seam with MOR hymns albums such as this one. But how such ploddingly dull renditions of the American hymnal will go down with British churchgoers I'm not sure.
