Another month, another Hillsong album. This one is a collection of a part of Reuben Morgan’s contribution to what is still a huge influence on the worship life of the church in the UK. The songs are all available elsewhere on various Hillsong “standard” releases ranging as far back as 1995 as well as two of the more rocky ‘United - Live’ sets. It is of course very interesting to know that all these songs are written by one person but I do wonder why this collection needs to be released apart from “If you liked … then you will like … “. One new thing is the addition of a few words from Reuben to give us an idea of where each of the songs came from. Anyway, my minor gripe apart, the album itself is of course great if somewhat unsurprising (which I guess is itself unsurprising considering this is a compilation).
