"Worship II' is the latest offering from Hillsongs of Australia which mixes six past favourites with six new songs '...to encourage you in your own worship time." The wonderful talents of Darlene Zschech features among a wealth of other singers, songwriters and musicians - with special mention to Russell Fragar. The production is crisp and clear which takes it a million miles away from the worship music for elevators style. As I listened to the CD it reminded me of early Vineyard music and the Amy Grant period of 'Straight Ahead' with its simple yet genuine intimate lyrics and music. "Jesus You Gave All", "Fall Upon Your Knees" and 'Thank You Lord" have a black gospel feel and reveal why Hillsongs sell well among the black gospel community. "Shadow Of Your Wing" and "Lord Of All" will probably follow "Shout To The Lord" into our worship services but for me Miriam Webster's "Fall Upon Your Knees" is an absolute gem and her voice could thaw a freezer. 'Worship II' genuinely moved me to worship and caused me to remember Jesus and whatever that mysterious thing 'anointing' is, it clearly rested upon a good number of these songs.

My passion is to worship and I would love to be in touch with the guitar players because I do play guitar when I worship.
Be blessed.
