Another batch of 12 new songs from the second generation (literally, in the case of Jon Bilbrough and Nathan Fellingham) of worship musicians. Quite apart from the actual songs showcased here, these CDs are an excellent idea. Along with the audio tracks, there are printable piano arrangements, melody lines, guitar chords, acetate masters and (joy of joys for those of us who have larger music groups!) Bb arrangements. Together, they provide a wonderful package for churches which want to experiment with new music. The songs themselves are all pretty competent lyrically and musically, including "I Want To Tell You Of My Wonder" by Gareth Paul Taylor and Paul Oakley's "Raise A Banner". It has to be said that not all the songs lend themselves to congregational participation - we could do with a few more songs with anthemic refrains - but as an indicator of where worship music is presently headed, this is a good collection.
