The opener is an anthemic call to take the Gospel to all nations that given the right setting and rock guitar arrangement would engage any crowd of young worshippers. Unfortunately Paul's rather flat and colourless vocal and a rather sterile studio production stops it from taking off. The same could be said for many of the recordings. Tabby Watling offers some excellent BVs, members of Rendered play on this set and Paul writes worship songs that exude the love of God. But despite these plusses 'Shine So Bright' never really engages the listener.
