This is a 2005 album from an Australian singer/songwriter and pastor and offers
songs with a retro feel containing simple, straightforward lyrics encouraging the listener towards a deeper walk with God. Production quality is high with an uncluttered organic feel and Paul clearly has a heart for God. My main criticism is the overall structure of the songs, which could have easily been written 30 years ago. This is demonstrated clearly by "Have A Little Faith", which creates an image of a 30-year-old Sir Cliff singing early Graham Kendrick choruses! Even when Paul addresses deep issues such as conscience in "We've Got It All Wrong", the strength of feeling gets lost in a kind of MOR soup. Paul's strength is in the praise lyrics in songs such as "God Is So Good" and "Take My Heart" but in truth this doesn't rise much above the average.
