I struggled to categorise this recording as there are pop, soft reggae and gospel influences here. US-based Ugandan Paul's goal is to encourage Christians in their walk. Unfortunately, Paul's voice struggles with the notes in places and this deficiency detracts from the good songwriting. Track three, "You Are There", for example, reflects on how God is always there when he calls, cries and breathes."I know how much you love me." "Singing Songs Of Praise" is pure worship, sounding like it was taken straight out of the Book Of Psalms. The title song however is the best cut offering a female vocal which blends well with a steady bass line. It's a shame that Paul's vocals drag the whole thing down.
