This volume has a somewhat richer sound with the addition of Florie Brown (violin) to the other three. Familiar songs include "Go Tell It On The Mountain", "The Water Is Wide", "Poor Wayfaring Stranger", "Michael, Row The Boat Ashore" and Woody Guthrie's powerful "Deportee". Dated stuff? - Yes. Irrelevant? - Never. Timeless songs, fine music, accomplished musicians, combining for an absorbing session.
