When Cross Rhythms originally reviewed this as an independent release (CR68) we rather misjudged it. First off, it falls more clearly with the Celtic genre than the MOR/soft pop classification given it. Secondly, I think the reviewer failed to appreciate the deft and delicate musicianship demonstrated throughout. From the haunting Hart penned opener "I Will Sing" with Joanne Hogg's goose-bump inducing voice floating over a delicate synth bed to the chillout version closer "Come And Worship" where a wistful piano and uillean pipes glide across a ricocheting rhythm this is beautifully produced, emotive music with possibly only the version of "Amazing Grace" (surely too stereotypical for any such album) spoiling the fare. Recommended.
