Phil Wickham is a young American worship leader from a gifted musical family, both his parents having been in genre-setting Christian bands. Phil has penned all the words and music for this album himself - the title track being written as young as age 13! All his songs feature powerful lyrics with really strong choruses and catchy riffs. One standout track is "All For You", sweeping vocals and instrumentals with a driving rhythm and a message that proudly proclaims his passion for Jesus. The style of his music is very evocative of bands like Jars Of Clay and Lifehouse and this album would definitely appeal to fans of that genre, but the strong worship style of his songwriting and emotional vocals would also make this album sit nicely alongside a Matt Redman CD. From the opening bars of the first song to the last note on the album you can tell this is something special, all I can say is try and get hold of a copy.

I have had the pleasure of listening to Phil perform his wonderful songs of worship at Maranatha Chapel and obtained a copy of 'Give you my World' when it was first released. Phil has a very powerful and emotional voice and his songwriting and musicianship are superb. My favorite track is "Jesus, Lord of Heaven" but the entire disc is GREAT.

phil wickham is a great man of God whose service in worship is second to none. his writing is personal and soulful. if you don't have a copy of this album, get to www.philwickham.com and buy one...or two. phil's songs are heart changing and the music is absolutely beautiful. full, lush tones and impressive instrumentation make for a great listen.
