There are many instrumental praise and worship albums on the market, but this is a good one. Many can be bland, but here the original passion of the songwriters come through. The superb arrangements are by the multi-gifted Christopher Norton and Andrew Green, and the playing is by those top class instrumentalists - James Oliver on guitar, Andrew Green on keyboards, Jason Rae on saxophone and Simeon Wood on flute and whistle. And on top of that, there is a clever choice of songs, remembering that some are so word-led that removing the words can show up the dodginess of the tune. Only one could be mildly accused of falling into that category on this disk - "From Renewal To Revival". Faultless sentiment but a less than inspired melody. On the other hand this collection also includes the modern classics, "In Christ Alone" and "Before The Throne Of God Above" as well as "These Are The Days Of Elijah",  "Come Now Is The Time" and many others. The words to all the songs are printed on the sleeve - always helpful, but sometimes forgotten. A strong recommendation.
