Ron David's previous albums 'The Vision's Clear' and 'My House' were enthusiastically reviewed in Cross Rhythms (Sammy Horner commenting, "To say Mr Moore is a good songwriter is like saying Michaelangelo wasn't bad at painting ceilings."). Now the Nashville-based singer/songwriter has emphasised the country elements to produce a pleasing though hardly riveting album. At times he reminds me of Bruce Carroll, but not as good, and frankly most of this album does little for me. Having said that there is one outstanding track, "Ira Jones", which is quite old time country and quite out of character with what had gone before. The last track "All Of Above" .is good as well. It too is acoustic. Worth investigating if you're a fan but this particular lover of country wasn't too impressed.

Ron convers a deep truth in each song and reaches out with a heart that beats like Jesus. Awesome work! Love your stuff Ron.

I just left a service at Our Savior in Broussard, LA. This was my first visit to a church of this kind. I was raised in a devout Catholic faith and was feeling like something was missing. I am a recently divorced single mother of two who felt compelled to go to this church on this particular night for whatever reason and I so glad I did. I cried and I feel like I have some relief. I cannot wait to go back to this church on Sunday. I felt like this man was talking directly to me.

Great Country Christian album! Issued in the mid-90's, this music compiliation remains one of the more touching and finely produced albums dealing with "real life" issues of divorce, relationships and of course, healing through Jesus Christ!
